Juanjo Rué and Tomas Ortega awarded SCM prizes

The Sant Jordi Prizes 2023, organized by the Societat Catalana de Matemàtiques, were awarded last night.

Juanjo Rué was awarded the Albert Dou Prize 2023 for the work De la teoria de grafs clàssica a l’anàlisi de les grans xarxes.

Tomàs Ortega was awarded the second prize of the Évariste Galois Prize 2023 for his master thesis Low Density Parity Check codes, supervised by Simeon Ball.
